Psychology as a science that examines everyday life interactions attracted my attention at a young age. Following this curiosity, I completed Boğaziçi University Psychology Undergraduate Program, Hacettepe University Clinical Psychology Graduate Program, and Istanbul University Psychology Doctorate Program. I continued my post-doctoral studies at the Department of Psychology, the University of Houston, TX, USA. I continue my academic studies at Istanbul University about relationships, conflicts, and negotiations in everyday life. Most of my academic studies examine these concepts in terms of violence in close relationships. I aim to study these concepts in different areas under the umbrella of Reconnect. Apart from these academic studies, I apply individual psychotherapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy) and couple therapy (Emotionally-Focused Couple Therapy).

I enrolled in the Department of Psychology at Çukurova University in 2016 and graduated in 2020. During my undergraduate education, I studied the stigmatization of mental illnesses. I also took part in volunteer activities in non-governmental women's advocacy organizations and peer support groups among ADHD-diagnosed women. In the 3rd grade, I completed my internship at Konya Beyhekim State Hospital by working on AMATEM, ÇEMATEM, adult and child psychiatry outpatient clinics, and inpatient services. In 2021, I was accepted to the Istanbul University Clinical Psychology master's program. As part of my master's thesis, I am conducting research about the relationships between intimate relationship violence, coping strategies, and symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder under the supervision of Dr. Nermin Taşkale.
